Why Will trent is my favorite tv show, & why it's universal

Will Trent is my favorite TV show, because I, like Will Trent, was abandoned at birth and was a foster kid. This show is about a detective who was abandoned at birth and grew up in the foster care system, who is determined that no one should ever feel what he felt, and so now has the highest clearance rate. The writers' POV on that dramatic tension is that "there's a time to cross the line", for even though Will turns in his colleague, who grew up in foster care with him, when she breaks the rules in Season 2, that same colleague is the only one to empathize when Will breaks the rules in Season 3. Audiences will be drawn to this theme because everyone can relate to being forced to choose between following the rules and doing the right thing, and when breaking the rules enables you to offer help you wished you'd once had, you know it's the right thing to do, which is also a central theme of "Killing Justice".
